StatSeal topical dressing products work independently of the clotting cascade to form an instant occlusive seal over catheter insertion sites that prevents oozing and bleeding and minimizes dressing disruption by keeping sites dry and intact. Prophylactic use of StatSeal on catheter insertions has been shown to drastically reduce CLABSI rates.
