Tyron (Ty) White, BS CLS, MLS(ASCP) SM , CIC
Ty has been working as the Director of infection Prevention and Control for Monument Health since 2018. He recently became Board Certified in Infection Control last year and holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from South Dakota State University. As a trained medical microbiologist, Ty served as the Microbiology Supervisor for Monument Health Laboratories from 2007 to 2018. Ty also Served as the President of The South Dakota Infection Prevention and Control Council from 2010 to 2011. He is dedicated to eliminating healthcare associated infections by developing multidisciplinary teams for performance improvement. Currently, Ty resides in Rapid City, South Dakota with his wife and two children.
