Elliana Barbell, MPH is an Infection Preventionist at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN. She serves as the IP liaison for Same-Day Surgery, the Birth Center, Rehabilitation Services, and several Medicine/Inpatient units. Her project focus areas include C-section surgical site infection surveillance and infection prevention education. Elliana received her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from the Yale School of Public Health with a Regulatory Affairs track. She is an active member of her local APIC chapter in Minnesota and on the Ambulatory Care Committee. Outside of work she enjoys exploring new restaurants around the Twin Cities, travelling, and reading.
