Jayvee Guerrero, BS MT, RN, CIC is the manager of the infection prevention and control department at the Scarborough Health Network (SHN). In this pivotal role, he oversee all aspects of infection prevention and control, from policy development to staff training and surveillance. His leadership and collaborative approach have fostered a culture of safety and excellence within the hospital, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. Jayvee is well versed in areas of microbiology, hemodialysis, and construction, design and renovation in health care facilities.
Jayvee has a diverse background spanning medical technology, nursing, and infection prevention and control. He is a registered nurse, has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, and has been certified in Infection Control for over 10 years. With a relentless pursuit of excellence and a passion for quality improvement, Jayvee has become a respected leader in infection prevention and control within the healthcare community.
