Andrea Lombard RN, BSN, MPH, CIC, serves as the Infection Control and Prevention Manager on the Quality Team at Community Health Services, Inc (CHS) - a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Hartford, CT. CHS is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and has five service lines which include: a high-volume Dental clinic with 13 operatories, Adult Medicine with podiatiry, optometry and a walk-in clinic, Women's Health, Pediatrics/Adolescents and Behavioral Health. CHS conducts sterilization and high-level disinfection on-site and has an established Infection Control Liasion Program. Andrea has been an APIC member since 1987 and certified in Infection Control since 1989. She has worked in Long Term Care, Public/Community Health and Acute Care settings.
