Dr. Jarvis McGrath, DNP, RN, ACCNS-AG is a Clinical Nurse Specialist, with a background in Critical Care and Cardiology, practicing in the Rochester Regional Health (RRH) system. Holding a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, Dr. McGrath is deeply committed to advancing healthcare through evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and growth for nursing professionals. In 2023 they received a grant from Edwards Life Sciences to support a group of CTICU nurses through implementing innovative change at Rochester General Hospital (RGH) that has led to significant improvement for patients, caregivers, inpatient nurses, and the RRH system.
Dr. McGrath’s passion for excellence in patient care has led to presenting at the Johns Hopkins Annual Critical Care Rehabilitation Conference, the RRH Evidence-Based Practice and Nursing Research Day, the Western NY chapter of Clinical Nurse Specialists, the NY Organization for Nursing Leadership, and to nursing leaders at RGH.
With a blend of clinical expertise, academic achievement, and a commitment to mentorship, Dr. McGrath promotes lifelong learning and collaborative healthcare advancement.
