I graduated from GSVM Medical College India followed by a combined internal medicine and pediatrics Residency followed by Fellowship in adult Infectious Diseases at Ascension St John Hospital in 2002 . Since 2003 I have been associated as a core clinical teaching faculty in infectious disease. From 2015 I have been associated with Infection Control and I am currently the medical director of infection control. I am also an Associate professor of medicine at Wayne state university . My early research has been on Staphylococcus aureus ; followed by COVID 19 ; currently my passion is prevention of healthcare associated infection.
