Christie Pinto, MBA, BSN, RN, CPHQ, CPPS serves as the Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Infection Prevention at Memorial Hermann Health System's Texas Medical Center campus where she oversees the team supporting quality, safety, regulatory, and infection prevention functions for the quaternary academic medical center. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from UT Arlington and her Master of Business Administration from SUNY Oswego. She is also currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at UT Tyler. Her clinical interests include emergency and forensic nursing as well as integrating nursing into interdisciplinary quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives. Christie is passionate about utilizing analytics and data-driven insights to propel performance improvement and proactively identify opportunities. She values servant leadership, prioritizing the empowerment and development of her team members to collectively achieve organizational goals and further serve the Houston community through quality and safe patient care.
