Lindsay Weir, MPH, CIC, currently serves as a Lead Infection Preventionist/Infection Preventionist III at Boston Children’s Hospital. In addition to her experience working with the pediatric oncology, bone marrow transplant, cardiac, and critical care populations, she serves as a subject matter expert in high-level disinfection/sterilization and water management within the acute care setting. Prior to joining Boston Children’s Hospital, she served as a CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow in the General Infectious Disease program. In addition to her Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC®), Lindsay holds a Masters of Public Health degree in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology and a Certificate in Healthcare Infection Prevention and Control from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
