Aayushi Chheda, MS, MPH, CIC, is a dedicated Infection Preventionist (IP) with over 5 years of experience, currently serving as the Supervisor at Providence Alaska Medical Center. A graduate with a master's in public health and master's in life sciences, Aayushi joined the exceptional team at Providence in 2018.
Her expertise of public health, epidemiology, along with her love of microbiology, and all things data defines her approach to infection prevention. Getting connected to other professionals in the field of IP has been an integral part of her professional and personal journey in Alaska. In 2021, she assumed leadership roles within the local APIC chapter, serving as President-Elect before becoming President. Aayushi's impactful contributions also include leading a flu collaborative for healthcare settings in Alaska, collaborating with the Alaska Hospital & Healthcare Association.
