Julia Bell is the Senior Infection Preventionist for Behavioral Health at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She has over 10 years of healthcare experience and joined the infection prevention field 5 years ago. In her current role, she has focused on developing a system approach to infection prevention in behavioral health including integrating system practices into outpatient programs and supporting a new pediatric inpatient psychiatric facility. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Julia is board Certified in Infection Control (CIC) and Medical Laboratory Science (American Society for Clinical Pathology).
