Chelsea Ludington is the Director of Infection Prevention for Corewell Health West in Michigan. Within this role, she oversees the infection prevention program for a large medical center and eight regional hospitals. She began her work as an infection preventionist in 2018 at an acute care hospital in Michigan after spending several years teaching higher education. She has also worked at an Infection Prevention Unit Manager at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services where she led nfection preventionists, nurse consultants, and epidemiologists who provided ongoing, evidence-based support to congregate care settings in Michigan.
Chelsea received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Allied Health and her Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis on epidemiology from Grand Valley State University. She has been certified in infection control (CIC) since 2020.
