Laurie A. Trezza, BSN, RN, is an Infection Prevention Practitioner at Morristown Medical Center, Atlantic Health System, Morristown, New Jersey. Laurie received her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University, College of Nursing in 1997. She began her Infection Prevention career at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, New Jersey. From there she continued to fight infections and champion hand hygiene at New York Presbyterian’s Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, New York and ultimately in 2021 found her way to Atlantic Health System, and her current role. When not investigating patterns and trends of hospital flora and fauna, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband of 25 years, Rich, her four children: Derrik, Anthony, Hudson, Madison, her sweet puppy, Coco & rowing with her coastal quad group in the harbor waters surrounding Boston, Massachusetts.
