Christine Young-Ruckriegel MPA, MSN, RN, CIC-Christine is the Manager at Morristown Medical Center which is a 725 bed Medical Center with sixty-five out-patient ambulatory sites. She coordinates a program with a great team of Preventionist’s to achieve successful reduction of healthcare associated infections and successful JOINT survey's.
She has functioned as an Independent Consultant to free standing health facilities and at one time created a role where she worked full-time as a Preventionist in the Peri-Operative Services.
She is a member of APIC and the Organization of Nurse Leaders (ONL) where she is called upon to mentor other Preventionist. She is on the faculty of the NJ NICE course where she lectures on preventing surgical site infections. She co-authored, “10 Steps to Manage Communicable Disease Exposure and Outbreaks,” which was published in the APIC National Publication, Prevention Strategist in 2019.
Currently she is President elect for APIC-Northern NJ.
