Jasmine Watkins is an epidemiologist with the Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program at the Tennessee Department of Health. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In 2017, she received her Master of Science in Health Care Administration from California State University, Long Beach and in 2020, she received her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was the project lead for the Clostridioides difficile surveillance project for the State of Tennessee until recently when she became the long-term care lead epidemiologist.
