Jennifer Madigan, MPH, CIC, is the Lead Infection Preventionist at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and Ascension River District Hospital in East China, Michigan. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1997 from the University of Michigan. In 1999, she obtained her Master of Public Health in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She began her career in Infection Prevention and Control in 1999 and received her Certification in Infection Control in 2002. Jennifer is an active member of APIC-Great Lakes Chapter #077 where she has served as the President, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Nominations Chair, and Program Committee. She is currently serving as the Bylaws Chair. She also recently completed a three-year appointment on the APIC Member Services Committee from 2021-2023.
