AVP, Infection Prevention
Hospital for Special Surgery, US
Alexandra P. Grizas, MPH, CIC (Alex) joined the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) community in July 2019 as AVP of Infection Prevention. From pharmacy to clinical research to consulting, Alex has over 20 years of healthcare experience!
Across the past 5 years, Alex is particularly proud of the work the HSS team has done to better leverage data and technology in our programs, expand the reach of the Infection Prevention department, and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of work, Alex is an avid yogi, cook, and traveler.
Alex holds a master’s degree in public health from Yale University School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of California, San Diego.
