Anna O’Donnell received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1987 from Loyola University of Chicago. In 2011, Anna received her Master of Science in Nursing candidate in Loyola University of Chicago’s Population-based Infection Control and Environmental Safety program. Anna is Board Certified in Infection Control (CIC).
She is currently employed by Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago as the Director of the Infection Prevention and Control Department and was the Manager prior to her Director role. Prior to these roles, she was the employed by Northwestern Memorial Hospital as an Infection Preventionist, a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Gynecologic Oncology/Ovarian Cancer Early Detection Program and as a staff nurse in the Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit and Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit.
