I am a Registered Nurse with 20 years’ experience in a variety of health care settings including Infection Prevention, Safety and Employee Health, Hospital Inpatient Nursing, Ambulatory Surgery and Phone Triage and School nursing. I have had certifications in disinfection and sterilization and work closely with those practices now. Much of my recent career has been in development and implementation of infection control programs for ambulatory surgery, hospital based clinics and acute care settings. I have worked with local public health departments in managing outbreaks and investigations and been invited to speak on numerous topics related to disinfection, sterilization, infection control and outbreaks.
