Lisa Waldowski is an expert Infection Prevention and Control nurse leader with over 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. An expert in the accreditation and regulatory standards, Lisa knows how to develop and implement comprehensive infection prevention and control programs and education. Currently, Lisa is Corporate Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Surgery Partners. Prior to joining Surgery Partners Lisa's roles have included: System Executive Director Infection Prevention and Control at Wellstar Health System, Kaiser Permanente Washington Regional Director of Infection Prevention and Control, Principal Consultant with TiER1 Healthcare, Director of Infection Prevention at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai, and lastly spent five years as the Infection Prevention and Control Specialist (Enterprise-Wide) with The Joint Commission.
Lisa holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice – Systems Leadership and a Master of Science in Nursing. She is board certified in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC).
