Margaret Gilman, MAS, CIC, FAPIC is the Director of Infection Prevention at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware. She has over twelve years’ experience as an Infection Preventionist and has been certified in infection control since 2014. She is a 2008 graduate of Hanover College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and philosophy. She is a 2021 graduate of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a master’s degree in healthcare quality and patient safety. She is a member of the 2022 Class of APIC Fellows. She is the President of APIC Chapter 15 Delaware Valley and Philadelphia and currently serves as a clinical editor for the APIC Text. Outside of work, she is an active member of the Upper Merion Mom’s Club, the King of Prussia Soccer Club, and the Upper Merion Baseball Association. She lives in King of Prussia with her family.
