Yoojin Kim has been working as an Infection Preventionist since 2015. Currently, she holds the position of Director of Infection Prevention at Oregon Health and Science University, which is an academic center. Her main focus is to reduce the risk of transmission of infectious organisms within care environments. Yoojin has a PhD in Microbiology and is board-certified in infection control. In addition, she is a member of Oregon’s HAI Advisory Committee. She has actively contributed to her local APIC chapter since 2017, serving in various roles such as President, Board of Director, Chair, and Co-chair of education conferences.
