Bassel Molaeb, MPH, CIC, FAPIC is the Healthcare Advisor, Trainer and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Consultant for the Compass Health Consultancy, Dubai, UAE. Bassel is an internationally recognized IPC expert with 14 years of experience. He served as an IPC consultant for several organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) - Eastern Mediterranean region (EMRO). He was selected to be the 2019 International Ambassador for the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) and currently serves as a member of the SHEA Awards committee. Bassel is a fellow and hero of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and serves as a member of several taskforces. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and the American Board Certification in IPC (CIC®) from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC).
