Ashley Ross is originally from West Virginia where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed her General Pharmacy Practice and Infectious Diseases (ID) Residencies at West Virginia University. In 2011, she furthered her path in the ID world at Jewish Hospital and Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospitals as the Clinical Pharmacist Specialist – ID. Five years later, Dr. Ross is the ID Pharmacy Specialist at the University of Louisville Hospital, which is part of the UofL Health System. In her current role, Dr. Ross is instrumental in the System’s Antimicrobial Stewardship and is the PGY2 ID Pharmacy Residency Director, and a contributing member of Infection Control and Diagnostic Stewardship Committees. She rounds daily with the ID Service and educates learners. Beyond serving locally, she has also been an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) since 2010, holding leadership roles and serving on organizational committees.
