Marissa McMeen, MPH, MLS (ASCP), CIC, FAPIC is an infection preventionist with over tweleve years’ experience in infection surveillance, prevention, and control. Experience includes supporting hospital infection prevention activities including reporting to the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) and data management and analysis. She currently works for Lantana Consulting Group as a contractor for NHSN.
Marissa has been a member of the Association in Infection Prevention & Control (APIC) since 2011 and Certified Infection Control (CIC) since 2013. She served as Preseidnet for the APIC Delaware Valley and Philadelphia chapter in 2023.
Marissa obtained her B.S. in Biology from King’s College in 2004. She was awarded a Certificate in Medical Technology from Robert Packer Hospital School of Clinical Laboratory Sciences in 2005. Marissa obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a Certification in Health Care Administration from West Chester University in 2010.
