Janet Glowicz PhD RN, MPH is an infection preventionist with Project Firstline in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Janet received her PhD in nursing at the University of Texas in Arlington and her MPH at the Health Science Center University of North Texas in Fort Worth. Janet frequently participates in outbreak responses performing assessments of adherence to CDC guidelines. Janet is a past President of the CBIC Board of Directors and is passionate about healthcare without infection through verified competency. Janet knows that meticulous adherence to infeciton prevention basics are the cornerstone of measures aimed at stopping the spread of healthcare-associated infecitons.
