Elaina Mills, RN, MSN, CNL, CIC, is the Manager of the Education and Guidance Development Program, part of the Washington State Department of Health Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance program. Her responsibilities include developing and maintaining guidance and resources, as well as overseeing the development of education and training programs promoting infection prevention and control strategies in healthcare settings. Elaina's background is in medical-surgical and oncology nursing and nurse leadership. Elaina has been an Infection Preventionist since 2018.
