Ann-Christine Nyquist MD, MSPH serves as the Chief Epidemiology Officer at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She is a Professor of Pediatrics in the section of Infectious Disease and Epidemiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine with a secondary appointment at the Colorado School of Public Health section of Community and Behavioral Health. She has served on national leadership roles on the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Infectious Diseases, Infectious Diseases of America Leadership Development Committee, and Society for Healthcare Epidemiology (SHEA). Her bibliography includes over 180 peer reviewed, published articles, book chapters, and other scholarly works. Her infectious disease clinical practice is based at Children’s Hospital Colorado and her research interests include healthcare epidemiology and infection control, quality and safety, health equity and pediatric infectious diseases.
