Paul Malpiedi MPH is an epidemiologist and the deputy chief of CDC's International Infection Control Branch within the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion. He works closely with Ministries of Health and their partners to implement infection prevention and control programs and develop sustainable, resource-appropriate surveillance systems for healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance in low- and middle-income countries.
