Infection Preventionist
NYC H+H - Woodhull
Ms. Henry has served as an Infection Preventionist since 2020 and has worked in both private and public hospitals. In addition to her service as an EMT, Ms. Henry supported the 2019 Novel Coronavirus response as a Quarantine Public Health Advisor for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. She was accepted into the distinguished CDC Public Health Associate Program where she served as a Public Health Advisor in Nassau County, New York, and was selected to share her research on Hepatitis C as an oral presentation. She is an active member of the APIC Greater New York Chapter where she serves on the Social Media Committee and Research Taskforce. She is also an active member of the National APIC Health Equity Committee. She has a true passion for infection prevention, public health, health equity, great food, and traveling.
