Session Description: The panel discussion will feature three active members of the APIC National Health Equity Committee, moderated by the committee's chairs. Together, they will explore the impact of health disparities on Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) and discuss effective strategies for addressing these disparities. The panelists will provide valuable insight, exchange best practices, and introduce innovative approaches to diminish disparities and advance health equity in infection prevention within their respective organizations.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify Strategies to Identify and Address Health Disparities: Participants will gain insights into strategies for identifying and addressing health disparities in infection prevention practices throughout their organization.
