DJ Shannon, MPH, CIC, VA-BC™, FAPIC has been involved in infection prevention and infectious diseases for nearly a decade with experience spanning research, state public health, academics, and acute care hospitals. DJ is currently an Infection Preventionist at IU Health and holds an Adjunct appointment with IU Indianapolis teaching Infection Prevention and Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the graduate level. He has a background in human biology and epidemiology and has focused on the intersection of antimicrobial resistance, device-associated infections, and infection prevention. DJ is a past Board Director and currently serves as the 2024 President for APIC Indiana. DJ Shannon is a paid consultant of Teleflex Incorporated.
