Stephanie Carraway, MPH, MBA, CIC, LTC-CIP, CER, FAPIC is currently the Director of Infection Prevention at Moffitt Cancer Center. She has been actively involved in national, state, and local infection control associations since 2011. Currently, she is on the APIC Board serving as the secretary. In 2017, she served as President for APIC chapter 055 and served on the APIC conference committee from 2021-2023. In 2022, she was chosen as a fellow of APIC (FAPIC). Her experience with Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) improvement efforts has earned her invitations to speak twice for the Florida Hospital Association. Stephanie's expertise in infection prevention is not limited to her clinical experience. She is certified by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) as an endoscope reprocessor (CER). Her extensive knowledge in this area has led her to serve on the CER Job Analysis Task force and standard setting committee for HSPA.
