Adam Lipford, MPH, CPH, serves as an Infection Preventionist at Mayo Clinic Florida. A Florida native, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Florida. Following his graduation, Mr. Lipford gained expertise in epidemiology, project management, and quality improvement while serving as the lead Epidemiologist for six northern counties in Florida. After five years in this role, he assumed the position of Infection Preventionist at Mayo Clinic Florida in 2022. His current responsibilities span various areas, including hospital HemOnc and solid organ transplant, ambulatory practice, informatics, water management, construction, and the hand hygiene program. Additionally, Mr. Lipford holds the role of 2024 APIC Chapter 50 President Elect.
