Jackie Blanchard is the Vice President of Nursing Excellence and Infection Prevention for HCA Healthcare and has been with HCA since 2017. Jackie is responsible for eliminating harm secondary to HAIs, and for assuring that quality standards of care in infection prevention are met throughout HCA facilities. Recently, she has also become responsible for launching the nursing excellence program (NEx) which includes optimization of leading practices to reduce nursing sensitive indicators, developing a nursing research program, and leveraging best practice from HCA’s Magnet organizations. Jackie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from The College of New Jersey, and her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Rutgers University. She is currently a DNP student at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is certified in infection prevention and control, has multiple publications, and holds a Six Sigma greenbelt in process improvement methodology.
