Jessica Plemmons, MPH, CIC; Infection Prevention Specialist II, Henry Ford Health. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018 with a Master of Public Health degree in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology. Jessica is currently focuses on CLABSI surveillance and prevention, high level disinfection, and unit-based performance improvement. Prior to working for Henry Ford Health, she worked in three research laboratories studying microbiology and antimicrobial resistance in the academic and government setting. Working in healthcare allows her to use her expertise to actively problem solve by way of research, multi-disciplinary work groups, and team meetings to prevent patient harm and ensure patients have the best care they can receive.
