Jeannie Lee, MSN, MBA, RN, CNOR has twenty-four years of perioperative nursing experience at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has since served in various staff and leadership nursing roles. Currently, she is an Assistant Director of Nursing in Perioperative Services. She oversees operations, staffing, staff development, regulatory, quality, and safety programs for 56 operating rooms across 5 operating room suites. In her role since January 2016, she has since co-led the group that created and implemented a centralized scheduling model for capacity optimization, worked to establish performance improvement programs for Perioperative nursing, and promoted patient safety goals in Perioperative Services.
Jeannie holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in biochemistry and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing, both from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master’s of Science degree in nursing administration and business administration from the Johns Hopkins University. She is certified in perioperative nursing practice. She has also completed the Patient Safety and Quality Leadership Academy from the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality, Johns Hopkins Medicine.
