Leah Oppy, MPH CIC, is the Infection Prevention and Control manager at UofL Health Ambulatory Medical Centers. Leah's involvement with APIC began at the start of her career by joining her local APIC chapter. Her involvement with APIC has transformed from being a member, to presenting at local APIC chapter meetings, a state conference and at National APIC conferences, to becoming the local APIC chapter treasurer from 2020-2022 and moving on to the local APIC chapter nominating and awards committee member. Leah’s current focuses are on UofL Health system wide data validation, policy review and revisions and accreditation readiness.
