Katherine Rhodes, MSN, RN, CIC has been an APIC member since 2003 and has been the Infection Prevention Manager at Texas Health Southwest for 18 years. She is a former APIC Hero of Infection Prevention and has presented several times on the national level. She is certified in Infection Control (CIC), Occupational Health (COHN-S), Safety Management (CHSP), and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. In addition to her love of infection prevention, she enjoys travel, camping, hiking, and reading.
