Alice Hughes, MT(ASCP), MSPH, CIC, Regional Director, Banner Health, has held infection prevention roles in all aspects of this diverse profession including acute care, critical access hospitals, clinical spaces, nursing homes, and content expert consultant for over 17 years. Alice continues driving her passion in reducing and preventing healthcare acquired infections and assisting facilities create a safer environment. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Metropolitan State College and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Colorado and maintains Board Certification in Infection Prevention and Control.
