Krystle Johnson MSN, RN, CIC is the Manager of Infection Prevention at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Co-Lead of the Emory Healthcare Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infection Hospital Acquired Infection Quality Acceleration Team. Krystle graduated with a Masters in Nursing with a certificate in Public Health Infectious Disease from NidAmerica Nazarene University. Krystle has 10+ years of experience in Infection Preveniton and has worked in infection prevention in a variety of settings including Hospital (both community and large academic medical centers), Public Health, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Refugee health, Ambulatory clinics, Rehab, and Behavioral health. Krystle has provided infection prevention based lectures to nursing, public health, and medical programs; as well as EMTs and Paramedics. Krystle won the Building Office Managers Association Presidents Award in 2021 for her guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Krystle is also a member of APIC, GIPN, AORN, ASHE, ACHE, and NTCA.
