Faiza Begani, BS, a-IPC received her bachelor's in science from the University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Infection Control from the University of South Florida. In 2023, she received the associate in Infection Prevention and Control (a-IPC). Ms.Begani is currently the Infection Prevention Coordinator at AdventHealth Celebration with over three years of experience in the field. Prior to her role as a coordinator, she spent 7 years in non-profit community building and outreach in Central Florida. Where she advocated for worker's health and safety both in the public and private sector. Ms.Begani's professional interests have been in ambulatory and ancillary areas. Her current projects include blood culture contamination reduction in Emergency Departments and improving tracheostomy outcomes.
