Kathleen “Kalli” Ricciuti RN, OCN is a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager at Overlook Medical Center. Kalli 's journey in healthcare began in 2015 when she took on the role of a Patient Care Technician at Morristown Medical Center. Her passion for nursing quickly became evident, and upon graduating from nursing school, she earned a coveted spot in the Hire Learner Residency Program at Overlook Medical Center. Here, she dedicated herself to serving on the Inpatient Oncology Unit, showcasing her unwavering commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
In 2021, Kalli's dedication and exemplary skills were recognized, leading to her promotion to the position of Assistant Nurse Manager. In this role, she took on the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations of the unit, managing a team of healthcare professionals, and ensuring the delivery of compassionate and effective care to acutely ill oncology patients. With a keen awareness of the risks associated with Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSIs), Kalli has implemented proactive measures to safeguard her patients, given the prevalence of central lines in this population.
