​Clare earned a Master of Public Health in Hospital & Molecular Epidemiology with a focus on hospital infection prevention from the University of Michigan. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fairfield University. Clare first became passionate about public health during her undergraduate studies, and her post college work in a hospital pathology lab sparked her interest in disease prevention. Since joining the Henry Ford Health team in 2019, Clare has focused on C. diff surveillance and prevention, unit-based quality improvement projects, and the hospital's hand hygiene program. She enjoys working in healthcare as it allows her to utilize her analytical and problem-solving skills to help people by promoting a safer environment for both patients and employees.
