Maureen McCloskey BSN, CIC, is an Infection Preventionist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), with 37 years of experience as a pediatric nurse at CHOP. She has spent the past 4 years as an Ambulatory Infection Preventionist where she partners with the ambulatory surgical centers, primary care settings as well as some specialty care centers to complete on site rounding, education, and surveillance. Additionally, she co-leads the development of an infection prevention rounding program and has had the to create a rounding program which includes standardized rounding in the high level disinfection and sterilization environments.
